The greatest feeling being an instructor is knowing when your student passes their test you have helped them with more than just getting a licence for some it is helping them to start a new career or giving them the ability to take care for a loved one.

Before working for Your Driving Academy I was working for myself, teaching a few family friends and was getting little work as I hadn't advertised much and was just relying on word of mouth, I also had a part-time job so I wasn't too concerned to begin with as to how many pupils I had, after a year and a half on my own I thought I needed to push myself more as I was a qualified instructor and wasn't using it to its full potential.

So I started to look around for companies to join, I was still a bit sceptical about whether I should join someone or carry on on my own because I was worried about paying a huge franchise fee or joining a company and once they had my money they wouldn't supply you with the learners. A little while after looking I was approached by Etty of Your Driving Academy, after speaking to him for a while I felt that he was really honest with me and he wouldn't mess me around or just take my money from me, which is what I was most afraid of.

 After a couple of days of thinking about what to do, I decided to take a gamble and join Your Driving Academy, as soon as I joined Etty had passed on so many students it completely filled up my calendar! It got to a point where I had to ask Etty to stop as I didn't have much free time to myself.

Etty has been a great person to work with, he's very friendly and easy to talk to, he's always there to help you no matter how little or big the problem is, he's always very professional and has always been honest, he'll take out time from his busy schedule to help you with anything you're struggling with and will also call frequently to see how you're getting on and if everything is ok. Looking back at it now I'm so glad I joined YDA as it has completely changed my life."

My name is Naeem. I live in Leicester, I have been driving since the age of 17 and has been over 25 years. I have always been passionate about Driving throughout my life. I have worked in many driving industries as follow Chauffer, minicab, catering delivery driver, courier, minibus driver, and now I have qualified as driving instructor.

Becoming a driving instructor is one of the best things I have done, as you can see all the jobs I have previously done were working for someone, or they would be a time-restricted, but the beauty about becoming a driving instructor I can choose my own hour being my own boss and work any time of the day while the other previous job I didn’t have that flexibility.

YDA has a big part in me becoming a driving instructor and big thanks to Ehtesham who helped me to get through this training and qualify, although my training was initially taken with a different and big brand driving school, I was left in the desert where the progress of my training was getting rust.

I rang Your Driving Academy (YDA) and joined them in the 1 of September 2020 while I was an on a trainee licence (PDI), and since being with them, I have been developing my teaching skills and getting expert advice from the team.

I Qualified o the 12 of October 2020 as an ADI and now will continue with YDA."
